Future Leader on the drift...considering it has a much better draw than last time, a claiming appie and has been running against stronger (barring the unraced horses...)

R2...very open...I like a bit of Gift Of Gold as an outsider to place. It shortened in the betting last time and perhaps may take to the Poly....

Well it took me a while but now worked out how to post.....Only 2 runners today...

Race 3 Oracle Manor slowly maturing but now must start coming to the party.

Race 8 Pemba for Oscar has the worst luck for bad draws. He is very well but will need the run so a place chance. B)

Memory banks a bit cloudy this morning but, trying to see through the mist, on yet another tricky card, I went with...

R1 looks a bit of a dangerous race to have a punt, I'll avoid (I originally picked out Grim Reaper in the hope it would be a little value, its not!)

R2 Not much between Aspen Winter and Sister Sybil for me but the latter 2.5 x the price of the former. The Special One worthy of one of my a throw-away R1 e/w bets.

R3 Hard to oppose Careless Love. Glam I Am and Apoc for the exactas/trifectas.

R4 Not convinced by Can-Can Inn at the odds and a bit of punt has come for Liquification. Don't think Time Fore Change should be ignored. Probably a pass race.

R5 Sacred Call was of a little interest when at the big odds and Deepo possibly worth a small e/w at the odds. Crimson Fire at the prices made most appeal to me though with Do You Dance the big danger. Prairy Star to be thereabouts.

R6 Yoshie could well win and likely to be thereabouts and Tetelestai to be right there but I've taken a chance on Forest Fighter. If there is a bigger surprise, I think it could come in the form of Vanilla Twilight.

R7 If Distiller is fit and ready then I think the price is very decent and is my e/w choice. Attachment could also go well at decent odds and The Civilian to be in the mix.

R8 Not one I liked but the money for Captain's Surge has to be noted. Suit of Lights respected but Emperor's Forest could well be the right one if recapturing form of penultimate with a much better draw than lto. The real nagger though for me, and sufficient to make it my e/w selection, was Spectral Isle.

Good luck to Peter D, think they both have big shouts.

Be(s)t of luck to all

I notice a number of horses are due to race alumites in front unshod behind
Is this normal in PE or only when on the Poly?
I had not looked before

Thanks Loopy...I'm just wondering about the reason for the unshod behind...perhaps not deemed necessary due to lower wear on the hind hooves...?(I don't know, but would like to...)

I posted glam I am last night e/w but nice place bet last night at a price of 25/1. Am gutted as it's been shortened all the way into 10/1. A lot of money, I wonder if it's stable money? With that sort of money I'd look to take exacta's with the favorite. Good luck chaps.
