hi all
nice racing to look forward to today with some very decent individuals
race 1 - Dancing Dynasty will be very very hard to beat in this race. Enchanted silk and Resolution to fight on for second.
race 2 - Eros's girl to blow this field away. I will also take a swinger with Modern muse.
race 3 - Kingmambo's legacy won very well on debut at a difficult course and will come on leaps and bounds. possible PA banker. Aspen looks like a nice sort and together with Nisa's machine will run on for the minor places.
race 4 - Futura is definately a PA banker but today might come on too late when the chips are down. Readytogorightnow will come on from it's local debut and must be a huge challenger on a more forgiving track. Master Sabina also looks to have found form at the right time. These 3 should fight it out.
will try and give thoughts on the rest in a bit
enjoy (tu)

In my opinion Capetown noir will beat Yorker and Beach Beauty over 1600m!

race 5
these non-black types are always very difficult
my main contenders for top honours in no particular order will have to be
perfect circle/plate of platinum/red rover/auction king

race 6 also a nightmare and my main play will be around
Air Patrol/Roc and Rose /Innate Quality/Target five
race 7 - beach beauty and yorker to fight it out with cape town noir on their heels
race 8 - Hammies hooker won as she liked last time and will go down to the line with Jet Aglow...what a race!
race 9 - Crescendo looks hard to beat but I fancy that Hunting horn and Island Fiesta will make him earn the number 1 spot right down to the line.
have a great day and all the best

Here are my thoughts:
Race 1) On ratings DD should win this easily. My concern is the small field and the pace in the race. DD likes to run on from behind and she will not get a good pace to run on from. If Hatt decides to have her up there she could run well. I think, even thought way out at the ratings, Revolution could go handy, slow it down and outsprint them
Race 2) Tough race. Eros Girl real shocking draw to overcome. How fit will Sharasal be before going into quarantine (same for Forries waltz). I think she is a big runner along with Just Lucky.
Race 3) Doesn't get any easier. This is not a race to go short in. I thought they would wait for July day with Kingmambo's. I'm surprised to see him out so quickly again. Not for me. FW will have a big shout. He is decent. Something from the bottom weights could pop up. They think a lot of the van Zyl horse, Down Under. He ran on well on debut. Could be anything.
Race 4) Even thought I think Futura will win this and the July, what a ridiculous price. Just stay and out and enjoy the race.
Race 5) Get your pins ready.....EW for me is Perfect Circle.
Race 6) Again another nightmare but I'm hoping De La Danza gets a better pace scenario this time, drops out and comes on late. Otherwise a complete and utter nightmare.
Race 7) Capetown Noir. Overs.
Race
Hammie's Hooker and Jet Aglow are the class horses but Maybe yes shouldn't be left out as she has some class. Perhaps too early for her to take on her elders but she has a place chance. I think HH will win.
Race 9) At the weights Rainier has to be Crescendo. I think he and Hunting horn will fight this one out.
Race 10) Cherry tripper or field.
Happy punting!

Race 1; Conditions: #2 DANCING DYNASTY; impressive and easy last two starts; shows some class; on a hattrick; weighted to beat , my 3rd rated by a mile; nap her
Race 2; Devon Air: #1 BELOVED COUNTRY; impressive last start; could be classy; Marcus/LairdC combo; I think worth 6's, 8's is available, ask for 10's
Race 4; Cup Trial: #4 READYTOGORIGHTNOW; impressive in several previous races; hot combo of Fourie and Snaith; I think worth 7/2, 10's available, have secured 11/1
Race 7: Gold Challenge; #1 YORKER; oh so classy; on a hattrick; impressive and easy in the Champions; I have him rated 5lb higher; Marcus rides, hot Woodie trains; I think worth 28/10, 4's available and secured
Race 8, Tibouchina; #1 HAMMIE'S HOOKER; easy and very very impressive last start; very classy; I have her rated 8lb higher; in form Bass trains; nap her
Prosperous punting

r1-2 DANCING DYNASTY

r6-11 NIGHT TIDE - consistent
r7- 2 CAPETOWN NOIR

resolution 16 to 10 top 3 with hwood seems generous considering her record there and also she ran well above her rating last time also having a winner behind her next time

Some thoughts:
R1: Dancing Dynasty the obvious one, but the 3yr old Alascan Maiden only needs to reproduce her Cape runs behind In the Fast Lane to be a factor at these weights.
R2: Juveniles - so anything can happen imo - went for Just Lucky as the value (Howells reported as being confident that she is much better than her last run
R3: Kingmamgo's L for me - impressive first win from a bad draw over a trip too short
R4: Obviously Futura - but Readytogorightnow had some good form in CTN last season - fair value imo; Master Sabina also not to be ignored - ran Yorker close int eh Saummer Cup and has come down in the ratings - widish draw a negative though
R5: One of those where anything can happen - went for Falconers Knot - nice draw should run on and as good a chance as many others
R6: Very tough - went for Spin a Coin - has as good a chance as anything imo - and 33/1 can't get hurt
R7: Capetown Noir
R8: Nothing between Hammies Hooker and Jet Aglow - Jet Aglow my preference from a better draw - 3 yr olds too close in the weigths imo
R9: Competitive - Island Fiesta solid recent form and should be thereabouts again
R10: Clear Sailing rumoured to be a good filly - like a bit of Cotswold, but has it all to do form the draw
Enjoy (tu)
