no secret plan or string pulling aryan..but when u ride 5 favourites and a second favourite some will win and some wont..today luckily 4 won..on another day none will etc etc..if u had asked me what his best ride was i would have said escudo..(no crystal ball here! unfortunately)
why i said that plan thing on air was because Deez had asked what was going on..obviously we nominate like 2 weeks in advance so at that time i knew exactly what rides were on the cards in the next week or so...so then i had known we had a strong card for tienie in flamingo, partnered up with yvette bremner and had good rides in jhb and kzn lined up.... same goes for next week..i think smanga will have a quietish weekend..including monday..but has some good rides next week at greyville(poly) and vaal...so lets see...things are far from over its a long push yet!
i believe anthony had a 20 plus lead into the last month and got beat that year by anton.. anything can happen..injury etc etc...

It's really good for racing's revival to see a jockey hungry for the title and booting home winner after winner. Bling riding the crest of the wave reminds one of how Michael Roberts used to steer them home,although not all can be winning rides, unfortunately.X(

Racing needs to have jockeys riding " for the punters", remember the days when Bartie Leisher, Gerald Turner, Jeff LLoyd, Felix Coetzee, Pierre Strydom used to bring home the winners, and they had a following with punters.X(
