Aspirin and paracetamol have saved more lives than any of these quacks - I have yet to see any of them do a heart transplant or give any form of hormone replacement (thyroid medication) or in fact cure sepsis or any other common ailment - Rather go to the bottle store and try to drink yourself healthy if you have an aversion to your money and body:)o

A little old lady asks the witch doctor if there are any Viagra pills for her elderly husband.
"Yes," the doc says, "there are three different strengths: 20% , which lifts it up a little bit; 50%, which makes it stand up half way; and 100%, which makes it touch the ceiling."
"Oh", says the woman,"I'll take the 20% pill please."
The doc shrugs his shoulders and says, "the 20% pill won't do much for you sex life, love."
To which the old woman replies, "no, but it'll stop him pissing in his fucking slippers!"

Yes actually I do know..... not a witchdoctor but a Sangoma.
She is 30 years old now and qualified to practise as a Sangoma about 2 years ago.
She was a brilliant student in school and went on to attain her B Comm Accounting in 4 years on a trot.
While serving her articles at PWC, she had a calling from her ancestor (great grandfather whom she did not meet) to do service to her community, so she took up being a Sangoma.
She underwent her training and also served her stint living in the water (they call it under water) with serpents and stuff.
How do I know all this??
She was my daughter's best friend since Grade 8, went to varsity together (KZN Pmb Campus), got BComm Honours together. However my daughter went on to become a CA (in Jhb).

I became a member of SAICA in 2001...it irks me that our Minister of Finance is a pharmacist and our previous Minister of Finance, much lauded for some unknown reasons, was an electrician by trade...he did marry a CA in Maria Ramos but she was the one that led the change of the Transnet Pension Fund from defined benefit to defined contribution with pensioners carrying the burden of poor fund performance...all in an attempt to reduce Transnet's post retirement funding obligations and improve its bottom line for which she was (incorrectly) lauded...

I remember reading it in an article some time ago but cannot source it now...I stand corrected...could have been embellishing by the writer...
Just checked SAICA website and couldn't find as search facility is area based...I did find myself though !!
