When I said that the Lions were helped by the ref I was told that I had no class. Obviously the poster that wrote that has no idea

If that poster believes that the Van Wyk try was legitimate then they didn't witness the same match...emotion ruling logic...we decry decisions that go against SA teams when they are overseas (especially in Aus) so we must retain our objectivity when SA teams also get "home-town" decisions...may benefit your team today but hurts the game in the long-run...
Here is the text commentary I read as I didn't watch the match:
16:22 - TRY! Unbelievably the try is awarded to Coenie van Wyk. I must say that was a rubbish call by both TMO and referee.
Van Rensburg clearly knocked that ball on!

I think the coach did the same stupid thing as the Lions by changing the flyhalf - They look far better with the youngster starting

Blues guy tackles Cheetah with ball from wrong side no yellow card
Blues crawl over goal line ref over rule TMO and award the try :X

Very poor referring this season TNaicker. For years now SA teams have been getting shafted by refs in NZ and Aus

Cheetahs were penalised for tackling without the hands in the first half, i have now seen the blues do the exact same thing twice without being penalised....(td)

Agreed...being objective, we must be critical of decision that went AGAINST Blues last week and other decisions that benefit SA teams..."hometown" decisions commonplace even if referee "neutral"...
In soccer, the players spoil the sport from a viewership point of view whilst in rugby it's the referees that spoil the spectacle...get the best of both worlds and you have two great sports...
