So if NO bookmakers take up the "offer", Tellytrack will suddenly lose nearly R2 million
a month (R5,500 x 350 outlets). That is a big knock for any commercial venture to
take.

I have it on good authority that some 79 bookies have already signed up and duly pay the 3%....

This 'feud' looks similar in some ways to the current strike by AMCU in the platinum mining sector - in both cases the sides are so far apart that it seems inconceivable that an agreement will be reached in the foreseeable future as the various bodies seem prepared to 'cut their noses to spite their faces'.

In the TT case, it seems strange to me that P/TT say that they "remain prepared to consider any alternative proposals" - why do they not put forward some of these 'alternative proposals' - can't they think of any :S
