@ what point on this post did I say I know how to make bad horses run faster.

I'm just saying people who bemoan their fate in life seldom reach the pinnacle of their profession.

The success stories are always about those that overcome despite the obstacles.

We all have 24 hours in a day.Make the most of yours.

JAP, I have seen extremely un fashionable trainers win the July. What was the difference between all his horses? That horse had the ability to do it and even that trainer could win the biggest race in the country. Not even Mike can get a bad horse to win and there are many in all the trainers at the top of the logs yards that leave without running a place or even running. Horatio, I understand that and everyone accepts that. It is the amount that he/she can change it by. 90% plus is the ability of the horse and I will never believe anything else. Ask anyone who has trained and they will agree. We all work on the same tracks here, work pretty much the same way, use the same food, use the same vets so the difference is the horse. Antons words to me were that he has been very lucky as he gets the best rides and at worst that 97% of jockeys could win on the horses he rode.

Well I hope so as well. The 3rd horse I ever bought ran in the July, 3rd in Group 1 and won over a million. Have not had one with his ability and heart since then.
