Looking at the rest of the presenters I would have to say that Neil is streets ahead of them. As for his sense of humour, well I've heard far worse and he does engage well with the people he interviews. For a mainstream presenter he has a very good racing knowledge.

The only thing that irritated me is the irrelevant guests he was interviewing 5 minutes before the Queens Plate, like Mike Rutherford and Eddie Jordan who wouldn't know the first thing about our racing. The Supersport Queens Plate broadcast this year was pathetic and didn't do the race any justice. But not sure how much Neil has to do with this.

I think you guys are being overly critical here. There are bigger issues in racing and the production than Neil Andrews. Let's remember he is the only personality well known in the public domain that actually has any care and knowledge about racing, and I think he carries the broadcast in many ways. To say he is pointless shows a lack of understanding about South African television.

Thought Andrews was way past his sell by date for some time.
Honestly cannot watch the Saturday morning show anymore with poor outdated humour.
Most interesting is that if you back his racing and sport selections your overdraft would have gone long ago, which is why when he eventually get's one right you will certainly hear all about it.

I don't particularly like his humor or his show(I cringe at some of the boarding school antics) BUT I really do think that if he were in control of TT it would improve 100% as he has a superb Racing knowledge and understands punters and punting (Sport too which is an added bonus)

I am just walking in door after very long day and this is not a go at Neil, we often speak at functions and he has no time for us but I did comment on his play with words on the show being childish but he is a very confident presenter but recently is becoming painful
IMVHO

But as I say he thinks we are a bunch of twats, so no offense taken just good constructive criticism
