I'm trying to figure out why this particular problem always crops up on a Saturday. The only thing I can think of is that there are 17 (!) racing venues today, which is probably double the number of any other day of the week. If that is the case, then the solution seems obvious, lose some venues, but that might affect betting turnover, no?

What they don't seem to get is that offering so many venues doesn't make the pot bigger, it just spreads it thinner.

has been going on for years and surely some person can step up and do something instead of wasting money on expensive draws with numbers stuck on the lingerie models. Racing is about info - give the punters info or they won't punt - Imagine how many people sit on their hands waiting for the dividend to show up before cashing their ticket to take the next bet - How do these people keep their jobs?
