For me hard to understand why they would put blinkers on Wyllie Hall - they must have felt he could improve with them - but imo he travelled too keenly with them - used to come from behind, but today was in front at the 500 - wonder if he still going for the Met - and if so, would he be fitted with blinkers :S

It was mentioned in the preview that they wanted to get the horse handier as it leaves itself too much to do. I believe that might work in a 20 horse field but seemed to work against them today.

Khumalo rode a shocker, very similar to when he let willow magic go at the 800 when whistle stop collared him. He had to sit a bit longer

How can you call that a shocker ? Misjudged perhaps, hit the front too soon.... maybe not a top ride... but 'Shocker' ?? Bit harsh methinks.
