5-10 Wolverhampton.
Derek Shaw saddles Six Silver Lane of a mark of 53.I don't know what's happened to SSL since it left Ireland.
On its last run over the water in won off a mark of 76,in its next 9 runs in England it has not bothered the judge,in fact it's last 3 runs it's been
beaten a combined 48 lenghts, hence the big drop in weight it has to carry.it also hasn't run for 180 days, making me think the gelding has had problems.
If it's fit and anywhere near back to its old self, this could be a Handicapp good thing.George Baker is also an interesting jockey booking.
Tha trainer saddled Shawcantango to win yesterday.
Another one in the race is Follow The Flag.
An old timer who has won 13 of his 149 career races, who hasn’t won for 14 months, but is well handicapped if Tom Queally can get any of his old ability out of him here. Has a career high winning rating of 82 and low of 60 today he runs of 48.He’s 3 from 29 at Wolverhampton and 2 from 21 over CD, his recent form is terrible but it’s all been at longer trips of 11 & 12 furlongs, today he’s back to 81/2F. The last time he ran at this trip he was 4th beaten only 4 lengths off a rating of 60. At 25/1 it's worth a couple of Bob ew.This is a terrible race,to go along with a terrible meeting.
35% ew on Six Silver Lane at 7/1
15% ew on Follow The Flag at 25/1
