Surely we are all grown up to know what we each want from this FORUM .
Still it is a great forum for punters to chuck their selections around and have good banter . , complain about poor rides ,others advertize or brag about their hags and all seem to know more about how TT should be run ,and the poor selection the on course presenters give
I can give my name but it will mean nothing as nobody knows me and I have never met any of you .
A GREAT FORUM that brings joe soap (me ) into the the real world of horse racing .
Lastly Flash this site needs you .

Calling perfectly decent people gutless is to me even more unattractive and is exactly the opposite to what this thread is about. I seem to recall a week or so back Flash H would not give his name (and very sensibly imo even though he was using the real name of another clanner), strange but gutless isn't the first word that springs to mind when I think of FH, completely the opposite if anything.
Bored and getting increasingly p1ssed off with this repetitive bollox... I think it has been made quite clear that ABC is not going to insist on real names being used so let's just drop it and move on ffs. If you really want to know the true identity of an individual PM them directly and ask and see the response.
Anyone who thinks GB, CnC and FH are not huge losses to this forum must be in cloud-cuckoo land. And it is not just them, the likes of Magi and OR for example are here less and less, though I can't say it is for the same reasons. These are "stalwarts" of the forum, who added a heluva lot and the forum is much the worse and duller for their absence, temporary I hope. Stop harping, stop mudslinging and just enjoy this place before your own selfish "needs" spoil it completely for all.
Tommy, a good effort bud but even this type of thread which was seemingly trying to generate a little positivity just seems to end up in the same place these days (td) Come on guys, put it behind you, clear your minds and start afresh...

I still love the fact that one or two non positive posts are highlighted ,yet all the positive stuff like the cash our members raised for the HCU's recently hardly get noticed.
And what are you guys classing as mudslinging ?

Pirates... absolutely, but the name should make no real difference to the quality, that is purely in people's head. Quality is quality irrespective of name. I accept it would make people sit up and pay more attention if my real name was Anton Marcus but it is purely in our own minds that we make the quality judgement call. Quantity... 95% of it is banter etc which has a very important role to play here too. I honestly sympathise with the "name wanters" in certain scenarios but one has to face reality too and from what has been said on ABC in the last couple of months, it is seemingly simply not going to happen here. If it is not going to happen why go back over it time and again?
Bob, you are of course correct but there is only so much one can say on such matters... eg excellent.

There are many who I don't mind that they hide their names as they post without getting personal and when they post it has at least some truth and many with humour, but when someone is going to get personal and mudsling then I would like to know who they are, especially as a lot of what they write has no fact behind it. I consider them cowards. To sit behind a computer and sling off anonymously is not on.
