Dave, wasnt it the Spanish coach that used up all his subs and then allowed someone else to come back onto the pitch? I am now hearing conflicting stories...

DO YOU THINK DEL B.DIDNT KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING PUTTING ON A 7th SUB,AND GETTING THE GAME REDUCED TO A PRACTISE MATCH STATUS C'MON.LETS WAIT & SEE THERE NEXT GAME AGAINST A TOP AFRICAN SIDE,IVORY COAST WOULD BE A GOOD GAUGE. CHEERS

A friendly game anyway. It is more what we can take out of the game regardless of Spain making an extra substitution. (tu)

Spain's substitute keeper picked up an injury with something like 10 or 15 minutes to go.
They knew they didn't have any subs left, so he passed his jersey to an outfielder.
There was some commotion on the sidelines and then Reina came on to take his place in goals before play restarted.
Commotion on the sidelines took a while to die down.

Reina did darn well too in those closing stages.
