Not unusual these days for a Liverpool supporter to turn a discussion on the Premiership into one about the Champions League trophy... funny, not so long ago it was all about the number of Championships they had won. Times rolls on and the history books get changed... in a decade or so will it be the Fair Play League they talk about? lol
Frodo, agreed but plenty out that day and a couple more in truth I wish had been out! lol
I don't think Lpool can be discounted and as KR says they do have the majority of the others sitting towards the top to play at home, whether or not they prove good enough to win those games remains to be seen. Irrespective of that, I think BR deserves a lot of credit for the team he has produced, far from the finished article imo as I think the likes of City and Chelsea have dropped points they should not have (you could argue that the same can be said of Lpool and Arsenal but to me City and Chelsea just look stronger and have the strength in depth their money permits them to have). But, the transfer window could prove interesting and from being, for the most part, slagged off not so long ago both BR and Wenger and have proved that the so called fans who are little but doubters and panic button pushers should keep there mouths closed except in terms of support.
United x City x Chelsea x Arsenal x Everton x Liverpool for me... but some may think that a slightly blinkered outlook

Englander you could be right. If you remember when city won the league they were about 8-10points clear of united at this time. And with about 8 games to go Utd were 8points clear of City. So i dont think anyone is out of it and as Michael Owen said The club with the best squad doesnt always win the League. Arsenal need another Viera and without one got no chance. For me its a 3horse race. Utd, City and Chelsea. I would fancy Chelsea as they have been far from impresive and yet they are right there.

4/1 on Chelsea is a donation to the bookmakers benevolent fund.
Still fancy Arsenal and City for the top 2 but am swinging towards City to win it. Hopefully they don't do a Leeds.
Chelsea are a shoo in for third.
4th between Liverpool, Everton, Newcastle, Spurs and The Rags. Going out on a limb would say United unless Liverpool sign Gullit and Van Basten.
Cheers

Man City definitely the team to beat and Chelsea the only team that can do it....

What is clear from yesterday,is John Terry needs to come out of international retirement..had Suarez under control all game.
Let's be honest,on football ability he is miles better than Phil Jagielka,Phil Jones and Chris Smalling.
Also, what is clear,Mourinho is a master at mind games.

Is JT still a model of consistency Dave? No doubt at the top of his game he is the best central defender England have, just not sure he always performs at that level these days but I have seen him very rarely of late.

I think in a World Cup with the amount of games,he can do the job..
Over a season in premier league he may have a couple of dodgy ones, but since Mourinho has returned he looks back to he's best.

Possibly but the heat out there will be a huge test... true for anyone though but definitely the altitude/heat found a few out in SA, fitness/stamina absolutely vital (no idea why I am discussing it though, we have the smallest percentage above zero of getting close let alone winning the thing! lol)

Chelsea have beat City and Liverpool at home
Drawn away to Arsenal,United and Spurs..
Mourinho is the master in these big games, don't lose to the top teams away and try to beat them at home.
I've only put United in as a top team, because they Rooney and RVP,the rest look average

I'm a Man United fan. But I think Arsenal will take the EPL this year. City and Chelsea will be there and then the fight is on fir that coveted 4th spot. Man U, Everton and Liverfool will fight it out.
When last have we seen both Manchester and Liverpool blue?
