Best fight I ever went to watch was Dennis Andries v Jeff Harding in Hammersmith,I think it's on YouTube.
It wasn't text book boxing, they hammered each other from first bell to last,Both to brave for their own good.
Fight ended a draw..
My mums best friend was Mickey Duff's secretary,so I managed to see a lot of fights at Bethnal Green,Albert Hall and Wembley..
But that was the best I can remember.
One of the most talented I saw was Kirkland Lang,he is on benefits now after pissing he's money away.

I have always enjoyed when the underdog...or lesser fighter, outboxes the stronger or perceived stronger fighter....but have slowly become less enamoured with some of the horrific beatings that have been endured due to trainers being to slow to throw in the towel...
becoming a woosie in my old age....

i stop to judge the boxer out side the ring as you start want him to lose be cause of these. i think price nazeem, i think chris eubank these are two that i all ways think you arrogant get knock out! but when we do these we forget or no apreciate the skill these men bring to ring. me i were the biggest fan of pac man for many year. he was pound for pound in my opinion the best ever in hes prime. it is pity he over stay hes welcome be cause now many people they only re member THAT knockout he suffer from one of the most savage punche i ever see in a ring. now flash show hes age but in the 70's and 80's i go to watch many fight here in south africa. my favorite local fighter was charlie wear and dingaan thobela before he start eating the to many pies. charlie wear he have the devastating punches but no defence and hes fights all ways you dont now what happen next. davey moore finish him with the best combination i ever see. dingaan thobela these guy would be one of the world great if he was dedicated, i never see a man with so much natural talent any where in world. he waste it is the huge pity, these is a problem many talented south african have they think they are not need for the dedication. johnny du plooy is one. i just remember another may he rest in peace is brian baronet these guy is nothing skill all heart. i cry when he die
