Sylvester i do agree you cant put lizard in the same category than Jet Master etc.but i will say he is a good bread and butter stalion. He is after all laying 28 th on the sire log.
But i still want to say that the best Lizards went to Brett and he couldn't do anything with it.
Look some trainers does well with certain stalions others dont.
Clearly Brett isn't doing well with Lizard so sell the progeny on.

Island Groove has had 5 runs for Duncan for a win and 2 places, had 7 runs for Brett for 2 wins and 2 places,
Lizards Hot Flame Has won 1 at Durbanville and 2 in Kimberley since leaving Brett

Cormorant Pass, race 6, was the Lizard Island that won yesterday. Interestingly he is out of a Jallad mare, Saintly Blush, just like Charlie's Island.

It is easy to stop a stallion etc. in this industry.
Somebody must just come onto this website and say the stallion is useless.
This for sure will be the end of that stallion.
The stallion is not a Jet master nor a western Winter.
It also did not find the training yards where the likes of Western winter Fort Wood etc. landed.
Stallions progenies are spread all over. This did not happen to Lizard Island.
It may also be the area that the stalion is standing in.
No breeder is going to travel all the way with his best mares to get covered so far from home.
Before you talk about a stalion consider this.
Put yourself in the shoes of the owners of the stalion you are slaming after all Brett can defend himself.

Brett does not need to defend himself his record does that for him
