We must remember the tote is only a machine calculating the pool by the amount of winning tickets, bearing this in mind, which normal thinking punter would play an ATC bet via the tote?

Last night 2nd QMIX Jpot - after 3 legs the tickets and willpays on number six are 96.09 tickets will pay R646.20
Number 6 wins the last leg and jackpot dividend declared R197.70 - no scratchings to affect the payout against will pay.

This is the first time that I have experienced such a discrepancy - normally spot-on

I joined flutter in 2000 and then moved over to betfair. I still have a master sub account with betfair and have done my fair amount of trading with them.

The thing is exchanges are 13 years old, BUT the bookmaker system was flawed way before that. In our lifetime the goal should be the eradication of bookmaker from horse racing.

FC i guess you were on it at R11 a place?? ... Was anyone on Wogsy at R59 a win on the TOTE or as it happens 100-1 with the bookies... you see i can also quote value with the bookies....

How can you guys keep on supporting a tote system that gives you money back on a winning ticket (the R1.00 value)...:S how can that system be sustainable (the money guaranteed back) who gambles to get there money back... No I wasn't on it...the worlds best racing jurisdictions don't have bookies!!!

How on earth..................??? And to think most of the pool is made up of SA Rands.:S
