Tara had 91 different starters for the season that raced 469 times for only 50 wins, how many more did she have that never raced?

Compare it to the Shams then the Shams done much better with the stock available !:)-D

I think it was Disraeli you said "lies damned lies and statistics"
All the BIG stables have horses that never race Perhaps someone can
post how many runners Woodruff had for the previous record
Might be an interesting STATISTIC

Though very controversial the Racing Manager must get some credit for the results

Think someone needs to do their homework, no discredit to the shams, yet, the shams do have two yards in two different training centers, PE and Kimberly, almost doubling their chances.
They have two barns in PE and numerous boxes in Kimberly, which I can only ASSUME is more than 36 stabled horses, (in both centres) at any given time....
Does it really matter how many horses have gone through the PE yard?
The Shams have done extremely well to have had 564 runners ( in two racing centers) for 61 winners!, but
Tara also has done well to have had 469 runners and 50 winners from a 1based yard of 36 horses....
Both trainers are out their to do there best at all times, it's not a matter of whom or who is better at the end of the day, rather that they are both trying to do their best!
No point in stealing a clients money if their horse cannot earn a stake cheque, rather be honest, tell the truth, and call it a day, suggesting another training centre, or , allowing the horse to try their hand at show jumping, eventing, dressage etc...
Not every thoroughbred it destined to win a race, yet alone be a champion, so my point is merely this:
Give credit to the trainers that have to make these thankless decisions every single day..
