But answer this " why has it taken so long for a black guy to win The July"
After all it's in Africa.
Are black jockeys not getting the chances they deserve,is it like the UK.Its hard to breakthrough the pompous attitudes
of some of the racing fraternity.

Come on dave Royston was a huddie,did he not drop his hands a couple of times?

Maybe a few more work riders could be encouraged/sponsored to go to the jockey academy?
