more like batter with a small piece of fish and an oily bag of chips for around £5.00 but the worse is and this very true. Deep fried Mars Bar.

yes i have heard of the deep fried Mars Bar....::o

Here i normally go to Ocean Basket if we want some fish, my younger one has the Hake and Chips for R40 and the rest of us normally have the Sushi or sometimes the Kingkilp met skyfies.

i used to go the Mariners Wharf in Hout Bay.(tu)

I have a nice contact for hake fillets. I make a beer batter and fry it in garlic/lemon butter with baked potato wedges.......flippin lekker

Well the fish does come out of the ocean and not out of a supermarket like you valise think hehehe

I often stop at the fish section @ Pick n Pay and check the fish out, you can see its at least 2 days old. yuk!!!

Fark--- just drooled over a new shirt !! Gonna try it TONIGHT !! Actually in UK at the moment and while the fried cod
is not bad, the chips are kak man. They don't know what ' slap ' chips are. Don't mean to be disrespectful,
suppose it's about what one is used to. But I'm hitting ' On The Rocks ' at Houties as soon as I get back.
