have someone watching under starter orders and continue to shorten horses on your site without any money put on them?as soon as a trainer or panelist likes a horse they shorten the price on their internet site

Is there any rules or laws pertaining to shortening?

mac this theory you are right. the problem is there is "adjustments" made by the hole lot with out the cent risk so same price every where. is what i say for long time these are no bookies these are accountants. they dont have books and they dont have balls. simple. my opinion is this is now time to let bookies bet only on the sport and let the tote be only player on horse

I assume from the comments, that bookmakers can in fact make their own price. My question then is what reason besides good faith with clients should they worry about punters odds? And then also why are the odds not regulated with a specific amount being the amount needed to move the price. If bookies want to open early prices they should be stuck until enough money comes in to move the price? I don't understand why they not governed by any laws.

Flash, i doubt the tote will give up there soccer pools and visa verse the bookies with the horses... never going to happen.

yes greg this is part of the problem phumelela do not play right they worrie about other rubbish not horse. but it make sense no?

Flash, I'm not a number cruncher but i bet you a large part of there turnover comes from the soccer bets, they would rather keep that and get rid of local racing if they had to make a choice which they don't... Sports betting is the future even for Phumelela... Just my opinion i may be way off course...
