On a very difficult card, i think Annaconda Moon (11/2) is worth an eachway punt. It has run 1.30 lengths to Tellina and 6.50 to Yorker. Malachite is the one to beat from draw #1, but 16/10 is a bit short imo. Tuscan (3/1), first run up in Joburg coupled with a wide draw, not for me. There are no superstars in this field, AM third run after the rest, if repeating the run behind Tellina, could go close in this line up.

Also like Ali in the 5th. Siblings from the same mare all won at similar distances .... though not many times.

Also liked Anaconda Moon in it's last start for the reasons you've mentioned, and was tempted to have another go today, but looking at it's form again, it seems to have no finishing speed/acceleration and might need further than what it's been tried over to date? Field is not too strong so place at least should be safe.

Very keen on this one myself today Bayern, must have a very strong e/w chance. I was hopeful last time out at the Vaal but 30 seconds before the off was advised through the TV that Louis G had told them the horse preferred a bend. As the 16/1 winner was my exacta horse I was none too pleased to hear that bit of info so late as it would have given me a 5-horse win accumulator : Big shame for me Louis seems to have stopped posting cos too many %!^^$!!!??'s on here kept p1ssing him off (I assume). Only cost me more than a few 10s of thousands rand. Anyway!! lol... sorry... I think this horse owes me big time but that aside, from memory, I agree with much if not all of what you say and am hopeful (tu)

@ANACONDA MOON the first one I took out as danger in race 3 , my simple reason is if Strydom cannot win on a horse 7 times in a row as a maiden then Deon Sampson will surely not(Sampson do not give a horse 2-4 lenghs better chance, strydom do and still couldnt win simple maiden). Can sneak a place but win NOT TODAY , even 9/10 place is not value on this one

@PARTY MAGIC nicely weighted but shit appie and horse running from off the pace , can fill quartets but not near winner.
@ALL IN THE WIND too many times post race distress and must be huge concern , drawn outside in a field with lots of handy/front runners so will have to work hard to get to the lead . place chance
My strong fancy Fanzene @25/1 and have Margot on Stage and Music Affair to beat

Impressa last win was against no "impressive" field , would take a chance to brass him against much stronger field
