Dave my 'black' wife agree I am racist
I love this country which I consider is my homeland. I accept we have plenty problems mainly due to our past and apartheid which the National Party get much support from your government. We must not wish away the past be cause it make us un comforteble we must learn from it.
Now have the great day de spite your denials

How many language you speak Dave? How many you can write? For the record I learn English as well as Afrikaans as well as Sotho. When you 20 year old travel halfway across world for the better life some times you not 100 % ready when you arrive.

Explain your response. I no have the go at you I say how I find this country when I get hear. Any one who is my age will tell you this is the case in the 60's. So what is the problem when I say their is no reason for the South African to treat the St george like any other saint?

FH... relax
If you say the English are shameful for any reason on a light-hearted thread about ST G's day you are likely to provoke a reaction. All I would say is that if you ask a native Zulu if he thinks the Boers have a shameful past in SA you might get the same answer. Lots of shameful things happened in history. As I said to someone else recently, look at the countries the British (or English if you want) "invaded" and see how their standing is now compared to those countries the Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese, french etc "invaded". Personally, I can't see that the British need to be too ashamed of what they did considering the overall history of the world, atrocities aside of course.
But let us not get into deep politics and history here... and I quite St Nicholas too!!

its so interesting to read what you guys are posting. Each of you are correct in some of the things that you have posted and also very wrong in other things. Its refreshing for me not to be involved in this "arguement"

I didnt ask you to treat it like any other shirt
Same as I don't wear rainbow colours
Read what you posted earlier,
What you should do is stick to what you first said and not try to deflect it,if that's your personal opinion
