Maybe Chris could enlighten us as to what happened. I was out claiming my CHCU deep sea fishing prize all day and have heard a version which if completely true is going to have serious consequences. Maybe due to the obvious NHRA enquiry and probable police involvement he would rather say nothing at this time?

R3 incident boiled over in Jockey Room, I fear Muzi has a broken nose & sprained wrist after headbutt and scuffle.
In carpark, confronted by Muzi and about 8 disgruntled family/friends/punters. I was pushed, tripped & kicked. Scraped elbow & cut hand.
Security/punters/owners broke it up.

After calming down in Boardroom, We went to Berea police station, no charges laid, incident recorded and all parties warned. Muzi and I have apologised to each other.
NHRA Inquiries to follow and We have been ordered to meet up with a senior Police officer at further notice.
Unfortunate that this incident has been turned into a Race case and I regret that my Fiancé and twins were caught in the middle.
I believe that other race goers were also escorted from the course after causing a nuisance about the incident.

Quite simply its a case where I felt disrespected and Muzi feels he is being bullied by all the jockeys..
We both snapped and will pay the price for it while hopefully learning from the incident.
I will endeavour to focus more on my family, racing, running and charity work in the future.

There are always 3sides to a story...

Don't worry O.R , I doubt your comment will be seen as bringing racing into disrepute.

As long as apologies were made!!
Fighting not the answer, 8 people against 1?! Dts also a very very very pathetic reaction I'm agraid to say.
As for racism? I dnt know u very well Chippy, but just judging from the posts u make, ur dedication to friends and family and ur commitment to charity-i find it a lil hard 2 believe that any sort of racism was used.

Anyhow, I hope urself and Muzi heal quikly

I'm not going to back down. Julle 'head butt' en bliksem mekaar soos die kaapse se skollies en dan wil jy vir my vertel dat my comment swak is? Kry jou eie huis in orde my vriend. Ek was nog altyd 'n ondersteuner, maar wat reg is, is reg.
