And the roughie in the 3rd Runway Jet. Improved in latest and cast shoe in that race. and the 2nd & 5th placed horses came out and won next time out. De Melo retains the ride. Could place at good value.

Also had a look at Chippy's ride in the last, Island Emblem, two good last efforts and there's been a winner and a few placings since that race. Place chance if it can stay the distance

Hi all...here are my comments for today

Race 1 – Blaze of Prospect ran a cracker on debut at longs odds (40/1) with Melanchete 1 length behind and went off at( 1/1),so must have a good chance to go one better, however the 1000m Scottsville straight is known to catch the best of them out and Here We Are can trouble them to the line.
Race 2- with the betting as a guide to these 2 year old races , Angie looks to be the right one? ...IMO...2 things will happen ...Angie will skate clear at the 300m mark or will be challenged strongly to the post by all of Coco Love/My Sanctuary or Sophia...
Race 3- Will Lerena now riding the first timer, Royal denise, by this time plotting a quick double?....I think so!!....but not a race to get too involved IMO....Tara Dawn could be an interesting newcomer and also watch out for Dance of light out of VAR...who on debut had respiratory problems but ran an average kind of race and then 1400m next time out was just too far but now back to 1200m could improve to run a place.
Race 4 – filed for me in the jackpot as any of these can win IMO...but I had to make a choice I would go with Themis to win /black is black for second and Checceti 3rd.
Race 5- 3 horse race for me : Everlast/Snappy Lad/Commanche Moon but both Perazim Joy and Modern royal can be included for larger Perms
Race 6- Cherbourg has been disappointing lately but with Marcus back on board has to have a great chance in this line up...the class of the race and must be included in perms is Roman Wall.....also Kambrook made a decent local debut and may prefer Scottsville.....Count Dumani with a good draw and light weight could get away from them.
Race 7- hard to see anything troubling the top 4 here but I will include numbers 5 and 6 for the Jackpot for value...My first choice will be Nothing compares though who can improve more.
Race 8 – With Jamal topping the boards with fair form but nothing to write home about ...lol...it may make a bold bid for top honours but I fancy a little bit of cachasa to improve on debut and step up in trip.
