If some enterprising stud had the resources they would be trying to acquire Bullet Train, Frankel's full (but not as good) brother. Prince Khaled Abdullah has sent some fine horses to SA. The late Stronghold comes to mind.

He`s (bullet train) standing in the states atm Bullet train is by Saddlers wells so i would call him Frankels half brother some might call him 2/3rds

Well actually this was attempted. I represented house of medoca and met with Lord Grimthorpe. This was after Judmonte had expressed interest to sell Bullet Train as far back as july last year. Dealing with lord grimthorpe was amazing he is super priffesional. When I made him our offer he smiled and said. " Next time bring more rands" I laughed and knew we had underbid by some way but at least we tried.

Just to add spice to the mix, SA jockeys took 5 of the 10 races on the day (Hong Kong). Mawing and Fourie had one win each and Whyte took three. Fourie's mount was a big outsider too.
