I remember that side. The opening bowler was Grobler (i think he has passed away) also Bosch who was quick. Anton Ferrira played for them as well and I forget the left arm spinner. He was pretty good as well.

Oh yes he was tall and his name was Morris.

Yes Grobler died in a car accident, was a decent full back for the blou bulle as well... Yogi Bear (Anton Ferrira) carried a spare tyre round his waste... Morris 6 foot 8'' tall thin guy with black hair... Then there was Lee Barnard, also could play rugby... Who was the wickey, had blond hair??... shit the name escapes me...:S

I think Eric Simons also played 2 season for them, as he was doing his national service in Pretoria.

lol.... and we had some imports, Alvin Kallicharain (spell??) and Sylvester Clark... These okes were quite happy to come play here in the apartheid days, especially that they were banned from representing there country cause of the rebel tours.

i watched Clark in the nets. Shit he was quick. I would not want to have faced him at the WACA or at the Wanderers on a green mamba. He is also no longer with us.
