Credit where it is due - I thought a very good USO this morning - refreshing to have some guys who can read form - and know their horses (tu)

It is a day where the men will be separated from the boys - and even the men will need their fair share of luck to finish in front come 19:55 this evening.

Thoughts:

R1: Inn on the Square has had many chances, but looks fair value to me - obvious chances to Eva Tibbs and Sky Pirate - lost of money for Tuscan Lass so probably needs to be considered as well
R2: 2 horse race - Chinese Gold and No Prisoners - I have a slight preference for Chinese Gold as No Prisoners may just get too far back again
R3: I agree with the USO guys - some doubts over Franny - both her MR and her ability to see out the 1160 - I think Jolly Poppin and especially Crissy Sanchez can not be ignored with Mary's Pride
R4: Again I agree with the USO guys, Deliver the Power could not win at set weights - now in a handicap faces a tougher task - Link Man obvious chance at best, Mike's Choice and Two Tone good value imo, and Moroccan must have chance as well - especially if if rains before tha race
R5: This race to show if the Rumya form can hold up - for me I'd like to see if first - so I prefer Al Kindi and Cherry on the Top from Amber Orchid and Negev
R6: The Hangman looks to have only the de Kock coupling to beat - and there are some stamina doubts about Desert Sheik - for an upset in the P6 maybe include the Marwing coupling
R7: Best runner from the de Kock yard for me is Silver Flyer - the Azzie coupling imo must go into the P6 (Brooks Club in the PA) - each way chances at the weights to Smanjemanje, Pierre Jourdan and Shogunnar
R8: Tough race - Happy Archer (as pointed out on USO) not at best over this track and trip, so all of Without Malice, Kalami, Louvre, Demanding Lady and Amur Affair hold some sort of chance imo
R9: Kolkata look the right one to me - but apparently has been prepared in Durban, so anyone's guess if he will be up to the task - if he fails it becomes a minefield of a race
R10: Again, it's Merhee or anything imo
R11: Mystic Tigress looks very good value to me - obvious dangers include Aconcagua and Sacred Temple
R12: Tap Tap Makathini and Rocky Stallone from a nice 'boxed' (:P) exacta imo - with Pardon, Daylami Star and Adventure for the trifecta and quartet

Enjoy (tu)
