Thanks OR... that day Senator had the 1 box (VR was in 3) and was VR's second run after a rest, as was its run with Tiger Attack though I am not sure that syndrome affects this horse. And that makes VR 3kgs better off for a 0.7 loss. It just makes no sense. I am not necessarily going to back VR, just don't understand it!

lol Shrek... I also like Chop Suey to do them both (tu) but I mostly asked to try and understand the betting a little more, the difference in price between Senator and VR (and Chop) is to my mind crazy... and I'm not saying Senator won't win but if the price difference is solely because of the jockey then its madness imho

I agree I ofter see horses priced up IMO the wrong way round. That is good for us as there should be value in it for us. (tu)

Personally I don't think there is much between Senator and Reign Victorious and both must go into the PA - dak horse for me is Milkwood Manor who is better this trip - imo the Rambo form is weak ::o

Another runner that I think could be some value is Wells Cargo in the 7th - he is not consistent but has a chance on his best runs imo (tu)

Frodo at ths stage my PA cost R9,600 so am trying to see where I can cut down. >:D<
