I must say he is bagging PLENTY winners over the last week or 2. Interesting to know how the top 5 looks at the moment in the jockeys championship

Did Anton not say in the interview after the 1st race that he thought Irrebuttable would be better over 1200m?

Yes another of many.....a thinking jockey with race riding talent.....if any others thought the same way there would have been no run on the outside rail.....bad draws are often never rectified. By by simply dropping out and getting to the outside fence behind the pack....too many times we see others using up early speed trying to burn to the front and then getting over.....Anton must have noticed the strong head wind and elected not to take on the wind and the inside going....

Even better....many others would panic.....and not persevere.....riding to win....not riding to get a better price next time out....:S
