Buy a donkey (in Afrikaans accent
) OR
Kind of you to say Bushy but... I am far from a big shot, trust me... just have a method which works for me in SA is all... glad I made your day though, that is why we are here after all.
Now, unless anyone else has posted grovelling for forgiveness in the interim, I shall be found on Facebook tomorrow... :

possible due to the 2nd placing from a 16 draw at the country course over 1600 and then a good win from the 11 draw at the same course...

Looks like most are on Rivatori in the next. I cant see too much to get excited about. Had a spare half hour today so only looked at this race.
What i cant understand is Augusta national is a MR79 and carrying 58 where Careful Hiker is a 92 carrying 57.5? If someone could explain that would be great.
Maybe i am battling as i havent looked at horses properly for about 2 weeks, but for me Augusta national has a big shot here. Cant understand why the betting has drifted so far out. Jet Supreme also a big runner here but not having gonethe distance hard to know if it can handle.

Can i ask why the jockey on Jet Supreme put up overweight, that was the difference between winning and coming 2nd.
Not my day, after Big Cat not placing by a similar margin.

Richie, the reason for the weight disparity is because of the conditions of the race. It is a novice plate so in theory only for 0 and 1 time winners. A year or so back they did however implement a sliding scale to try and make plated races more attractive to owners and trainers. I don't quite understand how those works.
Rivatorio was well in at the weights as she had the WFA advantage over her year younger counterparts. All in all Jet Supreme ran the best race o the trio off her mark with 0.5 kg's overweight.

Bernard is a big lad and struggles with his weight. He normally rides at 58kg's +
