flash, clearly you are a mug talking from his pocket...if you have only seen the value he gives with his opinion on horses and certain fields on big race days like the r2r/july/summer cup etc. he does his studying, he speaks to the trainers and jocks along with handicappers and tipsters in order to inform the public and give them a better chance of winning. as the more winners the public have, regardless of the payout, this is what makes newcomers hooked to the game, thus increasing tote pools...which, if i remember correctly, is part of his job description! vee clearly did his homework and should, if anything, be given credit for this. if you've ever properly done your studying of a card(that is without any influence of the betting or any other tipsters/punters), you would have also found your "certainties" that have got beat, now if your job is to increase tote turnover, wouldn't you want the punter out there to be on the horse you feel will win?

dont come here with this crap: "the horse run to a 105 in the plate race last time blah blah blah" as if you are any good at punting, because if you were, you wouldn't need to even listen to vee, nor even get input from other people such as clanners on ABC, you'd be retired by now.

vee added a lot more valuable input on horses he felt were priced up wrong, others that were good value, and then his overall fancies and why...name me ONE presenter on Tellytrack whom before raceday speaks to the majority of the trainers, does a full study of the card, has inputs from jocks, AND even goes and speaks to handicappers/tipsters such as Matthew Lips, in order to help JUSTIFY his selections.

" if it is so simple like you say then we all retire long time ago it is easy game this"...coming from your mouth, then why you having a go at vee? you start off making a fool of him, and end off with this statement...give the man a break

i understand you are allowed to have and voice your opinion, but do it with some justification, not just because he tipped a 6/1 shot in the morning which started fav and ran 3rd,

I trust you might have a point there but that is not FH probably meant.

However, from this statement , more questions arise which puts TellyTrack on the skids.....

1. Vee Moodley is not a trainer; why don't he ask them for THEIR COMMENTS and present them LIVE?

2. Similarly, why not bring on Lips and others to give us their own assessments?

3. Is he presenter or tipster or what? If a tipster, does he do his stint every meeting (even for overseas)?

4. What purpose does his presentation serve when over 80% of punters do not have or cannot afford Tellytrack on DSTV to watch at home?

Many more questions can be put..... but let's leave it there!

It's easy to get hot when the curry is dynamite!

Vee can read a card better than most but sometimes he comes across as arrogant .. But he still knows more than most(including many trainers)

Flash the man is one of the few people at Phumelela that actually understand racing and handicapping - You may not like the way he say's things but you ignore him at your peril - I always say:"I can find a winner on form but I'm not training or riding it..."
