Funny, I consumed some chicken n chips last night... very satisfying <

never a sending off.this was a nightmare weekend for punters on the soccer front with man utd,chelsea and everton losing.with hindsight i guess with this being a champions league week it wasnt too surprising to see chelsea lose,but utd were just awefull and once again i dont understand starting with giggs and carrick in midfield.no spark and no service to our strikers.

What strikers.....Rooney never played. Nightmare weekend for who? Liverpool won quite easily and made some ground to enter the top 4

Tonight, the value bet has to be BATE to beat Lille. Lille have not won a single game in this years tournament and BATE have already shocked the German Titans in Bayern Munich in Belarus. Lille have no chance of proceeding in this tournament and a sliver of a chance to be pushed into the Europa league by finishing 3rd. Chances are they will be more focused on the League performance and the match against Marseille on this weekend. Lille are 5 points off the top of the table and Marseille is only 3 points ahead. BATE are still in the running for the next stage of the Champions league, and by winning tonight, will have their destiny in their own hands. I have the odds at 1/1, even money for a BATE win. Worth taking

The bet I took though is Galatasary/Man United, both teams to score at 8/10. Man United have already qualified for the next round and are putting out a young team in Turkey. The remaining 3 teams in the group can all still qualify. The Turks will be looking to take advantage of being at home and get three points from this game, and Man U are leaking goals. (They ave. 1.29 goals away and have kept a clean sheet in only 14.3% of their away matches in the league). ..But they are still Man United, and I doubt if they will go two games with out scoring. Man United to win may be an attractive bet, but I think the best bet is both teams to score.
