Agree Batman it is a bloody joke - Zietsman please get to the point of presenters and stop your brilliance with the formbook - we are making the point about presenters interviewing trainers to present and not their stupid kak opinions which we dont need we have our own opinions- The point of being a presenter is to inform ie give knowledge from trainers and jockeys to the public THE END. They are a bloody joke and something needs to be done.

Mike de Kock has a website. Why not give the stable thoughts for meetings where he has runners ? Van Zyl does a brilliant job and even Duncan Howells posts a brief but concise opinion about his runners. Many trainers do this. Yes de Kock has done wonders for SA racing, but what has he done for the punters ? His post race interview was a insult to all of us who believe horses arrive at the track trying and not merely for a grass gallop.

Barrier Trails would help but as Pirates and others say these people are noit doing their job. I don't think they understand form so (one-time-winners, three-year-old's against elders, MR, etc) the only VALUE that they could have to a viewer is to get the trainer's take on his horse. They fail to do this because they are lazy and arrogant enough to think the punters actually value their poor tipping. With two of them on course surely KEN can see the value of getting one to interview the trainers before the race or does he think the He said/She said waffle is value for money? Where is Martin Locke? They need to listen to 702 to find out how to interview a trainer(Ken should BEG Chris Gibbons to help his mob as they fail dismally to entertain or provide solid information)
