Zim racing a healthy option

Titch... Your suggestion is a very good one! And the racing fraternity up there would welcome the support!

Maybe the word 'healthy' is not the right one - 'financially viable' maybe better?

In principle (and I may be ignorant to all the facts) I can't see the difference (morally) between supporting racing in Zim vs SA - yes our government is not on any UN list (as far as I know), but that is not relevant imo - we have some immoral folks in our government and so have Zim.

For me, I would not do it, but that's because I like to be close to my horses and be able to go to stables and to the track to watch them run - so I have horses with Gauteng trainers and they run in Gauteng (or the Free State, in case of the Vaal).

To each his own ....

See Frodo... Right there you have given such a valid comment. You've stated your reasons why you personally would not do it. And much respect to you, for that. You haven't jumped onto the Judgement Nag and told the world that everyone who does race there/ or supports racing there, is amoral!
