Some of them bud, no big ones but got 20 back on that one and on a couple of others and it gets back some of the losses. No swingers, got put off by the very low dividend I got on one last week.

The last 4 races I actually did mine to beat yours in forecast doubles n trebles. If you had stuck by Heavy Metal rather than Pol Playboy it would have been...

R9 2nd x 1st
10th 2nd x 1st
11th 2nd x 3rd
12th 1st x 2nd

Not bad for a couple of chumps! >:D<

No No Tommy ! I disagree > Mining prospect came good with the Sage stable winning a good race before joining Alison .

You got to give credit to the owners for having the gonads to move the horse from Sage . If the horse was with Sage it would be on a 6 month holiday getting ready for it's next run next year sometime .
How some owners have the patients with these type of trainers is beyond me .

Big up to Mr C Lafraisiere and to Alyson for running the horse when it on the BLOODY BOIL !!!

You could be right Solo, whatever the improvement, it is drastic. The way it was running on the Highveld I never thought it would stay past 1000m. Good for owners telling trainers how it should be, not the other way around!!!

Tommy i've noticed on numerous occasions , a Sage horse wins a race ok sometimes 2 within a month or so and boom you don't see that horse for 6 months . By that time the horse has gone off the boil and needs to get trained to achieve peak fitness where it was before the break . I suppose training fees are the main source of income for trainers whether the horse runs or not !
