Personally I don't think War horse did his reputation any harm. He got caught by the 2nd run after a rest syndrome, traveled wide, was never going to run a good race from where he was.....Still managed to run just off them.

For me, he will be right at the top of his generation this fella. He has the breeding and conformation.

War horse is best of the horses run in that particular race imvho.

Not sure if Spies is the right trainer to plan a horses career with...

....Ridden all wrong....Felix was scrubbing him early in the race to try get up with the pace.....

that was a poor field and best of that 2yr old crop will be seen later on in the summer wen they are 3yr olds.im sure the powerful cape yards hv some hotties uo there sleeves for summer season.

The best 2 yr old will not race here again, but we will hopefully read of it's exploits overseas.... Soft Falling Rain X(
