imo i feel he could have done more from the start ... tried to possibly get more handy than been so far back with the short run in ..

That's a fair point, but there are a few factors we have to look at.

1) Lamorna normally breaks a step slow and was not drawn ideally. Not much choice there.
2) The head wind meant you ideally did not want to be in front.
3) The above two points would mean that, in my mind at least, Brandon did as well as he could.
