Easy ! easy . You exagerating , i have huge limitations when studying form . There are a few on here who are way way better . For a while now i'm uder huge pressure . I lack like you say a good staking plan and Discipline .

@ avanza i was not offended no need for an apology .

Unfortunately we study the form on paper but races are run on the tracks . There are many times when i just feel i'm wasting time studying a card after a bad days racing .
An experinced punter said to me , the secret which i have not mastered is to wait for the pearlers then put the money down .

Spot on, usually you will find 2 or 3 pearlers a week.

The one thing I would love to have added to Stipes reports is to get an explanation for all trainers about their runners on the day, regardless of running 1st or last. From this we could see if a horse had a valid reason for underforming that the Computaform doesn't mention.

Horses are flesh and bones just like us unfortunately they cannot talk and could run without anything been detected prior to the race to find the horse ill after the race. Also if the trainer tells us horse was off work this week and used the run as an exercise gallop it would help then we could draw a line through the run. The more information the punter can get the better chance the punter has of backing the correct horse.

shrek i have tried telling the people who run the game in natal yr point for years but unfortunately they dont listen and they dont care ....its way to much hard work but what they dont realise is its their attitude to this point you bring up thats driving away punters and certainly not bringing in new ones....its almost a year that i brought this issue up with a certain trainer and im still waiting to meet with his board....iv given up on this issue and frankly couldnt give a fcuk anymore

Talking about Al Rashid, I think its more to do with the horse than the jockey, Fradd rode this horse to his best ability and it was unfortunate that he did not win, i also backed it and lost. this time around the jockey was changed and fradd's mount finished ahead of Al Rashid........makes one think. Considering the winners run to Slumdog.... what odds would Slumdog... be had it run in the July, so I need to know what Pomodoro's betting should be and what his chances of a July win considering he lost a nostril to Slumdog.

thanks

And the more you flood the punter with information the more the punter will punt because he reckons he is making an intelligent bet. That is the same reason some people only play blackjack. The intelligent bet.
If the twats that run horse racing cannot see this as a differentiation factor to create market for the product then I don't fricking know. Why is it so hard to get??
It is a serious insult to intelligence when one has to listen to some of these trainers talk about their horses. They can't even look at the camera they so flipping crooked.

Avanza,I agree 1000%.....................when I was still playing in tournaments,I spoke to many of the youngsters who have chosen poker as their gamble..........they believe that racing is not a game of skill because they don't believe it's honest.............as you say "Why is it so hard to get"
Wherever racing has sucessfully re-invented itself, they have regarded trust in the product as key............our lot are missing that ingredient you identified as intelligence.

there would NOT be 1 single trainer left in SA if they had to provide feedback after races.

Can you imagine " yes i expected that to run 12 lengths off as i have not worked it for 4 weeks and need its MR to get a bit lower"

or I ran it in a 1000m race because it needs 2000m but i need to race it to get fit as I can't get it fit at home because i'm actually a sprint trainer

Mr H

hillarious.....i actually asked a SA trainer why Michael Stoute (and his cronies) can let them make a debut over 2000m and run well and SA trainers cant.

The answer was "training tracks"
