Deez and Michael Roberts for the previews for the Winter season, Deez can do post -race interviews after that. The powers that be should try to get Michael on board for The July.

I get on well with most of the presenters and Julie is very good and a very nice person, but is it not an extra waste of money on flights, accmodation etc to have her presenting? Deez knows the form and is passionate about the game. PS even Deez knows Julie is much kinder on the male eye than he is! ;)

TT must learn from SS rugby presenters. Bobby, Naas, Matfield, Mallet, Willemse, etc....people that know what they are talking about. Hulle praat nie 'bollie' nie.

Surely somebody has tipped Julie off about how tiresome the "girlpower" trip is.
She is sweet and pleasant but needs to pro up !
I also do not understand the need to send presenters as guests to other centres..........they are not celebrities......it is that belief that has become the problem..

Let's not "knock" Julie too much, there have been worse lady presenters before.[ Remember Wendy Norman?]
Julie shud stick to Gauteng meetings Imo. Where's Leslee Faul these days, anybody knows?

Couldn't agree more - previews were really tepid affairs yesterday (as is mostly the case with Julie) and post race analyses had me scrambling for the remote to mute all day long. A pleasant lady for sure, but does need to "pro-up" as others have said, if she wants to be taken seriously.

Deez is a natural, a great presenter, plus you get the idea he genuinely wants to help punters make a buck, so he doesn't waste viewers time with silly talk. Nothing wrong with a little light-hearted banter but shouldn't be at the expense of quality information.

Only problem I find with Deez, is that he can be very long winded, I agree that he knows hi horses and studies form pretty well.

There is no doubt that he should be the Presenter on Big Days, but hopefully this little bit of constructive criticism will help him in future:)-D
