torres has won the world cup, european cup and champions leagure in the last few years...i suspect that he was carrying an injury for a long time...and liverpool continued to play him because the managers were under pressure

About time .... took for ages .... Now for Nani to have a brilliant euro's tourney then we can off load him for an astonomical price and combined with the 10-15 million pounds expected for Berbatov can get 2/3 more high quality players

I am not a utd supporter, but if you look at Nani's stats, he scores goals and assists in WAY more. He will be a loss to Utd....
Will you seriously make a case for Scholes and Giggs ahead of Nani?

IMO Nani is extremely inconsistent ..... He has two bril games then is woeful for the next 5 or 6 picks up an injury then the process starts again ... And the frustrating thing is of late he goes to ground very easily.
Nani vs Young vs Valencia vs Wellbeck ... I would pick the Young / Valencia / Wellbeck trio anyday . Valencia and Young either side with Wellbeck also able to play out wide on either side if needs be.
Although Valencia is not as skillfull as Nani he is extremely direct and gets the ball into the box 8/10 times whereas with Nani he is always looking to take on that extra player and therefore gets the ball into the box 4/10 times.
Money generated from his sale would go a long way in securing possibly a world class central midfielder in the Strootman / Martinez mould as well as a new up and coming midfielder like Powell or an out and out striker to take some of the burden off Rooney.
