Dave, would you be so kind as to provide a screen shot of these bookies that have 1/4 of the odds top 4 (if allowed to on the clan?)....and I will gladly adjust our place book % to be competitive. The reason I say this is because I am yet to see that done, unless it is a Grade 1 race.
Thanks

Dave South Africans cant back with over sees firms...
over sees firm dont pay 4 places in 14 runner races, they do with some SAF bookies...
Most UK bookies don`t lay place only prices(some do now)

You said it,some do now.Paddy Power and Hills lay place only.
Your missing the point.
Why do Sportingbet in the UK charge you to make a deposit to bet with them ?
Why do Sportingbet bet 1/7 and 1/6 on ew bets for places in UK,no other bookies in UK
rip off punters this way.If this is what South African punters have to deal with on a daily basis
i would be playing a lot more golf. How the hell can you be 1/7 odds ew betting in a 16 runner handicap for 4 places
when EVERY other bookies is 1/4 odds a place. Harriet, the only words coming out of your mouth is '' Lets treat UK customers with the same meaness as we treat our South African customers ''

Dave ,there is something I have to ask............your feelings about this crowd are well documented and yet you stubbornly insist on trying to deal with them, week after week, even to the point of using an alias.
Something doesn't add up mate............you theoretically have many options in the UK,including exchanges.
Why don't you utilise them?

Rob ,its not being stubborn and most bookmakers are the same with there restrictions.
I suppose it irks me when you cant have a bet or keep being referred to some trader for the ok.
I would rather they just have a set limit you can win per bet, instead of waiting for an age to be told
''Sorry you can have £5 win instead of £50 win..
Im running out of options with most of them. Theres only so many people you can use to get a new, clean account.
Just getting a bit frustrated really..
It was the £1 charge for depositing that sent me over the edge..
Just thought it was a disgrace to charge that,so ive highlighted it to the forum.
They are charging you to lose money with them...

Rob, there are not many firms in the UK that put up SA prices early, if you are restricted then you often miss the value bar your allowance of 2 pounds. If a horse is priced at 33s say and you think it likely to end up 10s or something similar you don't want just 2 pounds down, for all their faults SB do price up early, it is therefore somewhat logical to find an alternative way to join them so you can bet as you wish and take advantage of the early prices, taking sp for sa racing with their rapid and huge fluctuations would be a disaster bordering on pointless imho
