King's Temptress

I would like to say congrats to Corry Lemsley with his win, it is one for the smaller trainer and owner.
I must admit when I saw the horse entered I wondered what this horse from KMB are doing here, my thought was that she must be bloody good to beat this field, well she was bloody good.!!!!!!
I wonder if there will be persons making offers for her.
I think this is a big dilemma for a small guy , you have this good horse and you as a owner want to win future races and then some one comes along and make a offer so big that you can't risk it not to take it , becuase if you dont take it, as a smll guy, tommorrow you open stable door and the horse is dead or injured then you missed the boat, if you sell you will have the money but not the glory if she wins big.
would like to know what clans men's (and women) view is on this.
Frodo what is your view, i think you were in a similar position?
and once again Corry baie geluk

The small owner can always propose to retain a share in the horse, a la Godolphin partnerships....

It's a personal decision, taking into account the size of the offer as compared to the risks involved in hanging on to the horse - for me personally it was a no-brainer
And Asylum Seeker can be compared to King's Temptress only because they were more or less in the same price category - but Asylum came into the Nursery a 2 time winner and placed in the Ruffian - was second favorite if memory serves me right

for that i think I would have kept the horse, but if it was R4 m that would be another story,
If i not mistaken I think Rock Star 2y F(from Spies, i think that was the name ) was sold for round about 4M but i might be wrong.
