Like anything in life Craig, we have to be able to separate the wheat from the chaff. Please do not let it deter you...I value your input, some of the others... I take with a pinch of salt.

Just really annoys me when absolute crap is written. You can have your opinion but it must have some truth in it or when you write you must be talking about the majority not the very very small minority and not paint all Jockeys, Trainers etc with the same brush. As I have said before a lot of big business makes racing look stupid when it comes to underhand dealings.

Not looking too great. Still raining and cool up here and not really weather that is condusive to drying out the course but we can only hope. Will post as soon as hear anything.

Havent heard from track manager yet but an assistant here said that if it looks at all possible we might race they will try gallop some horses at 11am.

no rain forecast for rest of day and night and sun coming thru ...if tonite was the july handicap would they race ?i recall a meeting on the 18th november where how they finished the meeting is still beyond me ...the drainage must be shocking at greyville

I gather Greyville has had over double what we at Summerveld have had and I would not put a horse on our grass this morning after walking on the no 3 grass. If we race then they have done very well in my opinion but would be surprised.

time for someone to invent a big slew per stopper the one they use at the cricket grounds as the ground staff just sit and watch the sky and wind direction
