Have mates of mine at the course with Laff, they are involved with Ladbrokes Lass, and Laff told them with 2 minutes before the start of the race to have a bet on Love Struck. He said he only told them with 2 minutes to go so that the owners could get on. Laff apparently also had a good bet on it. Something here doesn't tie up.

Trust me, we had no money on the horse. We were disappointed that someone claimed the horse from 14/1 to 2/1. Not owners money

Oscar, both my partner and I are indeed pissed off. We knew that Love Struck is a good sort and when you don't have money on, and the horse wins well, it is definitely a bitter pill to swallow

Anthony, I believe you and if I were in your shoes I would be pissed off too. You pay a fortune to buy the horse and keep the horse and then someone else takes the price when your horse runs. My mates were also ticked off because before they could back Ladbrokes Lass someone put a big bet on claiming the horse. Fortunately their's ran second. As Agra says at least the stake cheque is in the bank. (tu)
