My father in-law's favourite poet, no doubt we will have a few wee dram's this evening......

After all my time in Scotland today will be the first time I have a taste of Haggis tatties and nips or whatever they call that dish.

if it is anything like we call it here in SA ' afval' pens en pooitjies..... I agree, nooit weer nie. dit smaak bollie. Things I can't eat in SA, pofadders, skilpaaitjies, kerrie-afval en k*k boerewors

Afval is tripe and I would eat it here but Mrs S refuses to make but haggis is a different story and IMO is magic ( we get it from Kiings butcher ) the same time we buy our pies, black pudding, tattie scones, square slice etc, and we normally get some biltong at the same time to have a balanced diet.

I have also had the pofadder, we have it with our snake and kidney pie
