NO... this would be a good commercial mating....Here one would need a decent son of A P Indy to make it genetically sound.

Very enterprising ride by Anton Marcus on Bravura... would also like to see Run for It's 400m's to finish time...aishhhh. And which was the horse with the red colours who at the 100m's mark or so looked like a pinball between pops ... got bumped left and right and squeezed ...

i also think Tales of Bravery was a very unlucky horse. I can't see the replay, but he was still coming on when i think he had to stop becos those wall of horses on the inside was in his way. I think it was Gimmethegreenlight that was in front of him, so he couldn't go anywhere.

Another comment is that Run for It has had my money sooooo many times, but always seems manage to not win. The run was eye catching to say the least.

Last comment..........now i know the horse of Greg Ennion that Richard Fourie rode (can't for the heck of me remember the horses name now) is a very good horse and one to watch in a little easier company

I had them both in the quartet for 3rd and 4th. I was hoping for Astro to be in the quartet for it to pay........anyway...and thanks Sheza

That was The Apache, maybe it could not see with the head gear.....flying up and cannons into 2 different horses in the last 100m....a race with pace... Igugu by 5 with The Apache and Run For It in the minors....Marcus dropped anchor up front and looked to win a spoiler(milers win Mets) looked like he'd got it right but he and GMTGL running on empty....:S

Hence the 'enterprising' ride comment. And I reckon Bravura stayed on pretty gamely and Striker perhaps used GMGTL too much early on... but still a good performance by the 3 yr old. Is going to be a huge force in the KZN season.. I reckon will be devastating at Greyville.

Bravura almost did a repeat of how he beat noordhoek flyer in 2010 derby
