The Class of Racing with Neil Pretorius on Tellytrack

Muhtiman,perhaps you haven't noticed.......the newbies are staying away already........they are taking up poker in their thousands(millions worldwide)..........What is it that attracts them and can we compete on that score?
Poker's appeal is that it is marketed as a game of skill and millions believe that.
Racing,utilising the right marketing strategy can trump that IMO,but if you keep doing the same things,expect the same result!

While we are talking about competing with Poker for the newbie gambler,I have to assume that with Piggs Peak and Silversands not allowing South Africans to participate on their sites,I assume there are thousands of on-line poker players suffering withdrawal symptoms and itching to find an alternative.
I wonder if racing has considered any marketing strategy to entice some of them to racing,before interactive gambling is legalised,and the bird has flown.(or will racing wait and plead for protection when another opportunity has passed them by)
Surely this situation of interactive gambling being illegal for the foreseeable future, should be taken advantage of?

Nearly every country in Europe has now banned online poker,spain is just about to join France,Italy,Belguim etc

Italian racing in sh!t apparently..................target the frustrated poker players?
