Why Run

I remember Harrys Charm and Chase the Light running on debut for Azzie. As you know Chase the Light was backed into short odds but could not match Harrys Charm who won and became a Champion while the other was an average sort.

I am not saying that there was or was not any intentional "move" to get better odds.

WHat i am saying is that if you want to be sure your horse wins the race and you collect, you better ONLY have 1 horse in the race.

This has happened thoughout the centuries and sadly will continue to happen forwards. For me though i would like to think that if i had a say, i would have been happy "pitching " the "faster one " in at a novice race and letting what i thought was the slwoer one win its maiden. WHICH is exactly what has heppened except for the punting debacle.
