Race 3 Graduation - PERANA any price; and we all know this geezer.

Race 6 Pinnacle - LEGISLATURE (Place) to down Magico who appears to be expensive; Azzman in form; unbeaten last two; hasn't run in over a year but that's why he's 14/1.

Race 10 Conditions - PRINCESS OF LIGHT has a more favourable weight advantage over Atlantic Oak; any price.

BORROWDALE

Race 6 Harare Challenge - How can we make money with CONTROL FREAK at current odds of 1/10?

Race 7 Zimbabwe Challenge - Brass Jet Command by dutching WINTER'S NIGHT and ONE LAST TRICK

Happy racing and enjoy the Guineas........

Morning guys,
On a previous topic a clan member stated that a debutant had been claimed and its odds shortened.
I have never heard of this prior to its race.
Could somebody explain this to me.
How can you find out what horses are claimed,is there a site?
Is every debutant claimable?
Thanks

Quite a nice card today - I'm going to be tempted into that 'bladdie P6' again - thoughts:

R1: ??
R2: Lots of talk abt Umcebo, but for me that first run does not really warrant a lot of confidence - maybe a first timer can surprise?
R3: IF Perana puts his best foot forward, it will be no race, but if he runs like he did in his last 2 runs, he could easily miss the PA - Mirage Drive is consistent and is a definite PA inclusion for me - also Baracah and Zambuca must have chances if Perana fails
R4: Very tough opening race to the P6; Aegis-Fang will probably need the run, but must be included, Carnaby Street probably my first choice in the PA, Roaming in Rome has run his bets races at this track, but may need slighly further - I'm definitely including the 10 in the P6, as I think the stable mate Hand Over Fist will be a big runner here, and also Count Orlov, who should improve over this trip - go as wide as the budget allows in the P6.
R5: Variometer a pointer imo
R6: Magico also very tough to beat - maybe Legislature could upset if ready after a rest
R7: Competitive handicap - definite inclusions in the P6 imo include Ahoy Captain, Tiger Tales, Commision Due and the scratched Divide 'n Rule - to make it pay, perhaps consider Nicodemus and the Erasmus coupling
R8: Another tough handicap - Colour Quest obviously needs to be included, but no value imo - I'm adding all of Vas Vites, Java Junkie, Bridgewater (who seems good value at 10/1 imo), the Lowe coupling and the scratched TIger Mountain.
R9: The Big One - lots have been written - to be safe include the top 5 and then consider the Tarry horse for an upset
R10: I think Atlantic Oak is better than rated and will improve more over the trip - Sidera the danger imo
R11: Combattimento all the rage, but I can't have it from that draw - I think one could do worse that an each flutter at a reasonable price on the late maturing Winter Union

Enjoy - it's going to be a cracking day - especially at Kenilworth (tu)

You can get 130-1 on a De Kock four timer today...
Perana
Silver Flyer
Atlantic Oak
Cobattimento

Perana is the one that worries me the most, but hey for 100 bucks its worth a go imo...

Frodo that ''bladdie p6'' was good to me yesterday in the Eastern Cape, caught it full for R30...:D ... Might have to rethink that ''new years resolution''....:D

Looking at your preview, Variometer looks the right one (will banker the matchett scratching) ... Race 8, taking the field....(tu)

Great stuff with that P6 yesterday :)-D - how about a %P6 today - 2 bankers and 4 fields, and then another full unit one with only the fancied horses in the 'field' legs

Throw OPPIE KOPPIE into your trifecta's and Quartets in the 1st race although she is bred to stay (1/2 sister to Golden Occassion) she is fancied by the connections to run a better race today than on her debut
